QCP1 – Quadcopter project 1

During ExperienceIT, I took an interest in quadcopters and purchased a Parrot AR 2.0 drone. I started with the YADrone software, a Java project available on GitHub, and am looking to build my own program and GUI. Check back here in the future for updates. Or let me know if you want to collaborate.

Quadcopter project 2 will be a homemade quadcopter configuration device. One of the devices will hopefully drop salt on gutters during the winter to help with the large ice dams that build up and the other might become a window wiper/cleaner or a mobile music platform with EL wire, led lights, bluetooth speaker, etc. etc. Both should be wi-fi controlled via a joystick.

The image you see above is a screenshot of a UI based version of the game I developed that is not complete (no listeners). It was not an assignment, just something optional I decided to do after learning about the Swing library.

These are currently Eclipse projects so you will need to download Eclipse Mars to build these. I will upload a stand-alone executable in the future that will just require Java SE 8.

The above header image is that of the circuit created in the circuit simulator TI-TINA. OP277 op amps are used because they are more precise than LM741s. The circuit simulates a free-hanging 2-mass 2-spring system.
